The Smart Home allows home or business owners to remotely control appliances, lights, heating or cooling systems and other devices over an internet connection using a smartphone or tablet. Smart homes can be installed via wireless or wired systems.

In houses where Smart Home Systems are used, technological devices are connected to each other over the internet, allowing the user to remotely control functions such as security access to the home, natural gas control, temperature, lighting and home theater system.
